NEW VERSA-LOK INSTALLATION DVDs BRING HOME THE BASICS ABOUT
RETAINING WALL CONSTRUCTION
Installing VERSA-LOK retaining wall systems just got a whole lot
easier with the release of The Base Course, step-by-step
instructional DVDs for contractors and do-it-yourselfers. The DVDs
are available in two versions for installing VERSA-LOK’S leading
retaining wall systems—Standard and Mosaic—both in English and
Spanish language options.
Following an introduction to the VERSA-LOK system, instructor Wally
Bildwell runs through a comprehensive list of tools and materials
needed to build your VERSA-LOK wall. Then, using a combination of
actual demonstrations and 3-D animation, Wally takes the viewer
through each step of retaining wall construction: excavation,
leveling pad, base course, bond, pinning, drainage and backfill,
soil reinforcement and capping.
Highlights of splitting and cutting are shown, along with examples
of the many special design features capable with VERSA-LOK. The DVDs
conclude with a presentation of 10 stunning VERA-LOK landscape
designs. PDF documents of VERSA-LOK installation manuals and
technical bulletins also are included on the DVD.
